Eh, another day in the office..... Sometimes the personal attacks must sting any man, what do you expect the guy to do, scratch his face like a loony?

Im the same mate, want the bloke to do well because of his connection to my club and the fact that he is an Aussie..... but it seems many are likcing their leips hoping for a failure ... Guess we'll see what happens...they have been out here for ages - even in the thread.
I so wish him the best hence me chimming in this thread for ages even though I have no care where Spurs normally are
I'm with r_laces alot with the overall look of Ange there and as mentioned, Conte/Chosen1 failed he was always up a creek without a paddle worse with a lesser squad than they had as well.
Levy is the crux of it all but he sure isn't going to die on his sword, Ange will be the next lamb slaughtered - amazing he's lasted this long tbh.

Yeah mate, I agree with you... Always thought it was a dumb move but getting a EPL gig is hard to turn down.... I dont think, if he gets canned at Spurs, he is done though.... I reackon he will get another go at the EPL....I'm definitely not in that camp.
I never begrudged Ange for taking the Spurs job, even though he was leaving a massive club whose fanbase worshipped him like a god.
A Premier League offer is very rare in anyone's career and it is almost impossible to turn down.
Having said that, I think the Spurs job is a poisoned chalice. You are imprisoned by the actions of Levy.
Don't come to Spurs with your lofty ambitions. Top4 and a decent run in the Champions League is enough for little old Daniel.

that can be said most of the coachs - they all become known quantities only the few get to to the cream jobs like most things. You know what you're going to get with Ange, so the question for an owner will be can he give him the squad he needs to succeed?

As far as I'm concerned he made it just with a club that has made up the numbers for decades now.
It would be fascinating being a fly on the wall hearing his discussions with Levy.
There doesn't need to be knives out here. Spurs will either stick with him (and avoid a payout) or not. I suspect he will stay (Spurs will want to avoid a payout and Ange won't be forced out by criticism) He will get some injured players back and regain some of his gloss in the next 12 months before bailing himself for another European gig.So the knives are starting to come out in Australia now too??
I can't remember which talking head mentioned it this week but ANge's boss move would be to win Europa or one of the domestic cups and announce he is leaving the very next day . lolThere doesn't need to be knives out here. Son is 32, I wouldn't consider that old at all.I think with losing Kane and an ageing Son, Ange needed about 20 players (mix of youth and experience) to have the depth to compete.
Spurs are 3-5 players short in my view.
You see it every week slow ball out to Son
He joins PearmanYang Min-Hyeok has joined Championship side Queens Park Rangers on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign.
I agree.... injuries are NOT on Ange's style, thats a laughable narrative by disgruntled fans... Well done johnsmith, I actually agree with one of your comments...At Tottenham, if Levy has not spent money on getting better players, you can count on it that they operate their medical and sport science at a shoestring.
Having your entire 1st team injured plus more - that's not bad luck. That is bad sports science.
