Important win, pretty ordinary performance though, no idea how United didn't score. Good to have Vicario back.

Although Ange has gotten wins over relegation fodder like ManU & Ipswitch, it’s definitely a confidence boost for him and the players.

Looked very disjointed in this one against City and completely toothless up front.

Hard to judge where Spurs are at.

I didn't watch the game for obvious reasons.
Checking the stats doesn't show very disjointed, just couldn't score.
Spurs stats against city were far more in favour than our game against them last week, big diff we netted and no Halaand.

I watched bits of the game and I'd agree they were a little disjointed but that's to be expected with the injured players returning and many of the combinations not having played much football together.

Certainly didn't get blown away by City by any means. I'd expect a little more fluidity in the final third going forward.

Also Ederson was MOM on Fotmob with 8.8 and 6 saves.

City should have scored minimum 3 in 1st half, men v boys stuff.

Complete turnaround in 2nd and Spurs missed a few incredible chances.

Haaland the difference the end.

Dont think Ange survives unless he wins Europa (they arent winning it)

Even if he does win it, if there is a manager available that the hierarchy believe can take them up a level, he will be gone.
Bournemouth manager?

I think breaking a trophy drought, a European one no less would probably keep him in. They'd have to play a lot of good football to win it and i dont think they have shown the consistency required. That said VDV and Solanke will be big inclusions.

yes I expect Levy is waiting to make the move - not sure who/when for at this stage seems this will stay in limbo with just 10 games left and safe enough from relo thats for sure.
I think Levy and coherts are scratching who to offer the role imo why nothing been done.

Why would Iraola consider whilst punching for a Euro spot, I too thought about Howe but they also could be fighting for 4th let alone Europa so both of them wouldn't bother looking at Spurs.

Hard to say, depends if Bournemouth qualify for a Europa League spot.

To get to the final, Ange needs to beat Alkmaar, Ajax/Frankfurt & probably Lazio over two legs.

That's a tall order given their consistency but doable.

I reckon VDV is not going to see much gametime till the end of the season but Solanke would be a big inclusion.

yer that isn't a bad option but I reckon he'll fall in the same heap as Ange.
Putting aside bad injuries they need to buy a few more key players so as the bench has start up player standards to compete way better but thats another storey.
Comes down to smart buying, they only need to look at 2 examples, LFC compared to United.

Didn't see the game, but he seems to have rested quite a few? Big changes from a team that has been winning. A bit strange given they've got the weekend off, but obviously all in for the Europa League now.

They won't sack him if he wins the Europa league, It would be their biggest win in decades and they get all the Champions League money for next season. He would need to start next season far better in the league though.
