The Melbourne Victory Thread

enthiusiam is so tepid for attending. FIrst free night for a home game in ages and don't think I cbf

Far out, that looks incredible.

I genuinely thought it would just be at the HOTM.

This far exceeds expectations.

Beveridge is miles out of Melbourne though, which is the only negative

The $35 plus million dollar staged project will be purpose built for Melbourne Victory and will be managed by the Club.

Are Victory actually going to OWN anything? Any club assets here?

If they’re going that far out from the city, what are your tips for the east, south, and west sites? I’ll go somewhere around:

South – Baxter/Moorooduc
East – Chirnside Park/Coldstream or Lysterfield/Narre Warren East if they want to cut off MCFC.
West – Bonnie Brook/Plumpton

I'm not sure what maths they used to calculate Beveridge is within 1 hour of AAMI park.

I imagine land is a big limitation for these sorts of proposals. We probably cant afford lots of land closer to the CBD.

I would also be curious on the demographics. Closer to the CBD may be older residents with either teenagers or on their own. Uni students as well.

glad to see vellupilay starting and kasey bos back
I'm hoping vellupilay tears it up since he is probably going to be selected in march

Its a good point. The outskirts are more likely to have young families from backgrounds likely to play football.

His form isn't back where it was but has improved each week. He's showing flashes and has broken his post injury scoring duck.

I'm worried we can't break down this block of Wellingtons.
