The Melbourne Victory Thread

We showed a lot of character today. To keep playing our game and come back from 1-0 down. I hope it builds confidence in the team.
I was happy enough with the performance. We seem to find Macarthur tricky to play against... especially at home. And we didn't concede late, which was the story of our season last year.

Brisbane (home), Wellington (in Sydney), WU (Away) and Perth (home) over the next month. Big opportunity for a fast start.

I haven't been impressed with Reec. Besides those touches is terrible defensively also. Fornaroli is better.
Agree. He scored a late equaliser against us in the Unite game last season. it was a pretty solid finish from memory. I'm not sure where he got the composure from, because he seems to lack it at Victory.

That's a full strength XI. My only disappointment is no Fornaroli on the substitutes.

I think PK is making a huge mistake leaving out Bruno. Maybe Reec will be a good player or maybe he won’t. I’m not sure if he’s any good tbh. But at some point, we will be chasing the game and we’re gonna need Bruno coming on off the bench.

Fornaroli to Mariners rumoured. That'd be frustrating because he should at a minimum be a sub.

Absolutely. 18 goals last season and frozen out this year. Reec hasn't been good either.
Sometimes players move and go up a level becoming a better player sometimes they move when they should of stayed and go backwards.Think reec is in the latter

If he insists on leaving, then I'd rather it be CCM than City.
It's not really a rumour. It was just Rugari/Oar hypothesising on their podcast where Bruno could go if he were to explore options in the Jan transfer window.
Now with Nish potentially out injured, Bruno will almost certainly be in the squad.

Just looked like he rolled his ankle... hope its not too bad.

Confirmed out of the Bahrain game following scans, so doesn't sound good. Nish is staying in Aus and not travelling. He was on crutches after the game.
He doesn't need surgery which is a positive
