Sure but there are more countries potential playing int eh world cup than Australia ... stuff the foreigners I suppose? There would be no prob getting Visa's being Aussies.
I travel to Mex every year couple of times no fuss and even with the Trump pot stirring looking ahead.
Tourism is tourism same would apply with Canada.
Its tourism revenue.
Yep I was in Germany & Russia for WC, great experience, planned to go next one, but once Trump got it, wife said no way.I'll go to Mexico, I'll go to Canada. I'll skip the bit in the middle.
I thought the discussion was of where the Cup is being held mono ?Sure but there are more countries potential playing int eh world cup than Australia ... stuff the foreigners I suppose?
issue is people from South America are worried they wont be able to get visas in time to watch their own teams play... let alone countries like Iran if they qualify.... Also, will Mexicans or Canadians be able to enter the US by then?I thought the discussion was of where the Cup is being held mono ?
and its Canada USA Mex whats the issue ?
People came to grip re Qatar, oh how could it be held there, yaddayadda it went ahead and heaps of westerners went, oh Russia originally people had a cry over.
The list goes on and I suppose ahead, human is human.
And if you are an effnik Aussie - it may still be a problem to get a visa. And given that native Americans are getting deported until the authorities realise that they are already in their own country. Yeah, nah.issue is people from South America are worried they wont be able to get visas in time to watch their own teams play... let alone countries like Iran if they qualify.... Sure Aussies shouldnt have too much of a problem getting into the states, but it IS a big wide world mate.
If you have an Australian Passport you will have no problem gaining access unless you have a personal record that comes up on the US no visa list. It's those countries not on the Visa Waiver scheme that will possibly have some delays. And if you are an effnik Aussie - it may still be a problem to get a visa. Correct and that is standard even pre Trump re the Visa Waiver scheme. If you have an Australian Passport you will have no problem gaining access unless you have a personal record that comes up on the US no visa list. Just re-read what I wrote and what a mess.If you have an Australian Passport you will have no problem gaining access unless you have a personal record that comes up on the US no visa list. It's those countries not on the Visa Waiver scheme that will possibly have some delays.
I really like the squad, presuming Popa is going to leave his balls at home and go the same system, only changes I'd make:This would be my team for the March qualifiers, based on players that will hopefully be available. We've got to value and reward players that are playing at a decent level and are in form. Popovic's team won't be anything like this I'm sure, but this is my 26 man squad. Interested in everyone's thoughts:
Ryan Langerak Izzo
Bennie Strain
Burgess Rowles Ja Iredale Geria Matthews
Bos Elder
Triantis Devlin Balard Irvine Luongo Nisbet
C Goodwin Segecic Milanovic Drew Vellupilay
K Yengi Botic Boyle
I don't disagree with anyone's inclusion there. Got some injuries to monitor and sadly it's the desired changes we just won't see. Expect Behich, Miller and Caceres to be picked. This would be my team for the March qualifiers, based on players that will hopefully be available. Realistically some of the wingers are there for cameos if at all. With Garang back fit and in some form, it wouldn't be the worst inclusion. I don't think Atkinson or Leckie will be recalled but maybe Popovic is interested in the experience they bring.I really like the squad, presuming Popa is going to leave his balls at home and go the same system, only changes I'd make:
- Gauci for Langerak - sadly I think that ship has sailed and Gauci getting minutes now
- Borello for Yengi - rather leave the big guy at home and build up to full fitness
- Not sure on Drew also considering yet to play in Austria. Might be better to let him settle. Silvera call up instead? Could also call up A Goodwin with Boyle's flexibility.
season starts next week right?dAgostino?? What’s happening with him. I had almost forgot about him. Does anyone now?
I still rate him as a prospect and one to watch. I don't think we've seen his best yet.dAgostino?? What’s happening with him. I had almost forgot about him. Does anyone now?
