The Ange at Tottenham Thread

Ange outers vastly over estimate the quality of the team. The defence are good however they lack depth, midfield is horrible bar maddison and Bergval, and the attack needs serious improvement to say the least. Son isn't at the level he use to be, and Kulu only fits the AM role in this system as he is too slow for wing play (which displaces maddison). Then on the right wing you have Brennan Johnson who only knows how to tap the ball in, and Odobert who is very promising however still somewhat raw. For strikers you only have Solanke, as Richarlison is always injured, and Tel is going back to Bayern as he is not good enough IMO

Their squad is better than a lot of teams above them including Fulham. The first half yesterday was awful, but the first 20-25 mins of the 2nd was the best Spurs have played for a while. Then the game got stretched and there were gaps everywhere, Tottenham always concede as soon as games look like that.

I get the injuries side of it, but Spurs lost some critical games when they were at strength that would see them higher up the table. They should have picked up more points in that first half of the season.

Next game is Chelsea at the Bridge. May as well pen in a loss now.

Watched the first half and went to bed so have no idea if it improved or not but that was rubbish from a netral's perspective. Low quality dross. TFC couldn't string 3 passes together and Fulham weren't much better.

Give me the A - League any day of the week when that's the standard.

so you're basing the quality of the Premier League on a game featuring a team managed by someone who is of Z-league level

The word on the street is that James Johnson is waiting for Ange to get sacked so he can turn the Matildas into the world’s greatest women’s football team ever.

the consensus among Spurs fans is that Ange would be suited to women's football

I know you're trolling but what's the difference? Would pep not be good at women's football because his good at men. You'd think anyone could be successful in any coaching job if they are professional coaches

I'm not trolling, I've heard many of them say this.

It doesn't make sense if he can coach men why wouldn't he be able to coach women?
nobody said he can't coach women

perhaps he and are the Tillies are a perfect fit

he's certainly not suited to the Premier League

Spurs fans are an absolutely cooked lot sometimes... They have been expecting Ange to be "sacked in the morning" for so long now they didnt realise its almost April .... They'll get their wish one of these days and then what?

so the fans are cooked, not the manager who has the worst record of any Spurs manager in Premier League history?
