Yeah I'm totally worried for them. Is there some off the pitch that isn't clicking? Are they embedded in their community?

apparently those who can read tea leaves claim we are on track to be up from last year even not counting auckland, but somehow this year feels a bit bleaker than the last two....

The season kicked off really well, maybe the best since COVID. I thought Unite Round killed the momentum though. Great for those who went, but they were too few.

Poor crowd at CCM v AU .It does need to be remembered that the Central Coast has many people who commute to Sydney for work and the average time for a train journey from Central Station to Gosford is 70-75 minutes so if you finish work at 5 pm you don't get to Gosford till probably 6.30 at the earliest ( allowing for time to get to Central from your workplace) and of course there are many other places on the Coast where people live and need to go home first before going to the game.

Nah was far too busy throwing bricks, lighting flares and checking people's DNA and ethnicity at the turnstiles - plus a bit hard to count empty seats in a ground with no, um, seats....

Reading these posts I forget what thread I'm in haha. Two sides disappointed with how things were/are, and there are truths in each. We will never have a complete answer for the past, it will always be "it's complicated".... Sounds like a previous relationship of mine hahaha.
