thrilled with that number tbh

reckon we will see another slight improvement this season

need to have a league players in schools. Try and get another 300 average a year. Within 10 years you have a good attendance
 
It’s peak holiday season and on the coast.
Should be no prob having a good crowd incl neutrals who are into the game.

I know, I use to go watch Apia play in the NSL at Chrissy time as I was on holidays, sometimes the crowds actually hit 1K during this time, a 10% improvement.
 
Well, CCM have gone from champions to barely also rans in one hit, so a fall off in attendance is expected. Frankly, the fact that Perth, Brisbane and CCM can still get 5k plus through the gate shows, for me, that the A League is a bedded-in comp now.

My take on the League this season is that the slide has hit bottom and we are now on the way up. Hell, even Western United are establishing a solid core of home support. The worries, I think, are CCM and the Bulls. The latter may have the money to ride out awful attendances, but sadly I would not be surprised at all if this is CCM's last season because if current ownership walks, it is difficult to see anyone else coming in.

CCM's future may well rest with a move to a more "normal" share of broadcast revenue next season.
