A-league attendances 24/25

Despite the knockers among the old NSL tragics - mono increasingly sounds like a looped recording of a child banging a tin can - there is no comparison between the A League is now and the NSL, where even the A League's reduced attendances would be a hopeful fantasy.

Hahaha.. mate we can all see how well your "product" is selling week in week out, (lest we conveniently ignore/forget the countless blown marketing dollars and FA prop ups/bail outs, the media support, the substantial growth in population etc etc etc (comparison wise)...clearly, you are leaps and bounds ahead and it obviously shows, (nonetheless, why let reality/truth stand in the way of a good story, for you franchise league types yet again! hahahaha)

Keep living those highs mate! Bc we all know 'its mono and those evil NSL types' that are holding your franchises back all these years! Those damn old NSL saboteurs continue to stop "the right" mainstream masses from attending!

Speaking frankly, would rather be an NSL "tragic" with a history and a culture, than nothing more than a franchise account number... keep paying those dues mate your on your way to greatness and its showing!

No mate, believe it or not the "argument" isnt fun anymore... Its been 20 years.... Ive only been online for 4, others have been fighting this thing for 20 goddamn years.... 1 million times explaining to people too full of hate at something they no nothing about that:

YES we could raise the money (apart from the very start of the Aleague when even Melbourne Victory didnt have "the money")
YES we have a lease on our own stadium with seats and lights and change-rooms and corporate boxes that's better than/equal to 3-4 of the other Aleague clubs
YES we have junior development squads down to miniroos for and have ALWAYS done so
YES we have pride and passion in our club and in our history of being founded by migrants to this new land
YES we are proudly Australian and have represented our nation both in Oceania AND Club World Cup

There is a reason why South Melbourne FC was and will never be allowed to have a license in the Aleague (and thank Christ we no longer need nor want one) ... its written in the very fibres of a very bitter angry little man, and his pitch to the new dawn....

BTW I am 100% for including Sth Melbourne. They should have been the second Melb club, in from the start of the A League.

From the perspective of one having limited access to pro football, I admire you supporting the team live. I'm envious. Other forum members living in the big smoke need to attend all live football - that many of us don't have access to.

There is also an Ignore function on your controls, which means if you activate it, you wont see any of his posts. I haven't seen any posts from Fying Bat or Vo2Max ( banned from coaching and lost lots of money investing in SFC) posts for months. They hate the AL and want to disrupt those of us who like it, from enjoying it and discussing it.

Conversely, Lupi and Mono, spend so much time watching, analysing and thinking about the AL, and enjoying and seeking out the company of AL fans, they are becoming genuine fans! If they are up for it, I'll buy them a beer to show my appreciation for their gradual transition to AL fans.
