As a rule I agree. But you want them to succeed. Some of these moves are coming off the back of half a season of club form and very few senior games across a career. I worry it sets players up for failure when patience, even for a year may serve them better.I definitely agree there are a lot of early moves, but I think the more guys that are heading overseas young, the more likely we’re going to uncover players that are capable of stepping up and playing at a higher level.
I know a lot of them aren’t going to be able get minutes in the Championship like Bennie has done this season, but maybe he’s a decent example that some of these players might surprise us.

It's an interesting question. How many games experience is enough? It has to be north of 50 for mine. The further north the better.we discussed this in the podcast - when the is the best time to go. Roughly the last 15 minutes

They should promote Chris Irakoze and give him some exposure. Turns 16 in a few weeks, same age as Haine Eames who is starting and playing full matches for CCM.Adelaide to sign a backup striker with Luka going to the U20 Asian Cup.

Apparently the next big striker talent coming out of South Australia. He’s regularly called up to the Joeys even whilst being from a younger cohort, and Twitter scouts have been raving about him for a while.Who is that?
