Australian transfers 24-25 winter

Again, Haine Eames had only played U20s for CCM.

Sometimes when the talent is there, it can be fast tracked and work well.
Eames played a fair few first grade games last year and heaps of U20 games.

That’s very different from playing just under 18’s.

Anyway I’m sure we’d probably just play Folami up top if we really need to. Gotta justify that 4 year contract somehow.

Having a look at his Wikipedia it states his loan was terminated with League one side Cheltenham last season. Could it be that he's not quite A-league/League One level?
That was a very weird one. Cheltenham didn't score a goal in the opening 8 games or something if I remember and were an odd bunch all season. A massive misunderstanding.

Jury is out now to see how Peupion goes against men and this new level is ideal to measure how he currently is.

Not sure, so hard to benchmark players who standout at youth level.
He looked as good, or slightly better than brook and milanovic but slightly weaker than garang kuol and the Maurice novello tournament for what it's worth

If you fail for a relegated team it's not as simple as not being good enough. Aussies who go to mid table or top table teams can often keep their spots more than if the aussie goes to a relegation battler. If you are at the bottom, often the coach is incompetent and the environment is toxic. Silvera played more form borough last year than pompey and now needs to drop a division to get his confidence back

Genreau to Deportivo La Coruna until June 2027. Currently 16th in Spanish 2nd tier.

Toulouse management have to be some of the biggest gaslighters out there. Always name him on bench, always bring in some raw youth to start ahead, always preferred Spanish speaking mids like coach (ironic he now moves to Spain) and then he gets a few starts pre departure playing fairly well. This move must have been a fortnight in the works though.

Good riddance I guess but the Toulouse starts suddenly looked promising and now to go down to that level is a downgrade given his French skills would've seen a very easy transition to Belgium. Still, a concrete 2.5 year deal to work up his match fitness.

Tete Yengi to J-League
Nisbet to continental Europe preferably or, if not, MLS
Feels like Nisbet could slot in anywhere. Quality player. Ross will gladly cash in if a high bid comes. I don't anticipate it this winter. A few days left in window.

Big day really with Genreau and Peupion finally moving on. Not to mention Gauci got the move too.

It's the easing back in which makes me want him to just stay at Newcastle for 6 months.

A Carlisle loan is too greedy from my side. They're in a dogfight and I don't think Garang needs anything too rough right now. The season is a write off for him.

A permanent move away from Newcastle would be better than a loan. Peupion finally cutting ties and Genreau means they can get on with it without holding into false hopes.
