I was just talking about the peak of Bosnich's career i.e. he was the only one to make it to the absolute top.

In terms of longevity in the top league, Schwarzer obviously has it over everyone.

But it's not as if Bosnich was only a 1 hit wonder. He played 179 EPL/First Division games with Aston Villa on top of his 26 EPL/Div1 games with ManUtd and 5 with Chelsea. And I think most of us don't realise how good the Villa side Bosnich played for was. When he was the main keeper they won the League Cup in 93-4 and 95-6; and came 2nd in the EPL (92-93) as well as 4th (95-96), 5th, 6th, and 7th.

If I had to pick one for Australian keeper I'd definitely pick Schwarzer and have more love for him than Bosnich. But I don't think we've had anyone hit the heights that Bosnich did.
When Bosnich first came to CCM his first training session was at Budgewoi. I made my up there and watched the keepers train. Behind the other goals was Terry Greedy who I knew quite well (at that time he was Deputy Principal at my son's primary school). The keepers trained and then went inside. I wandered down to talk to Terry and Bozza came out. It was amazing the offers he had at the time he went to Villa, Man U, Liverpool among them. At his age though he needed a family connection to get his work visa so he married the Aston Villa chairman's daughter I believe.

true mate, he got a EPL winners medal, they alredy had it in the bag winning by 18points - he played 23 of 38games.
MU won the seson before and the following 00/01.
He rejected a loan in 00 being out of favour but hoped to win back the spot over Barthez not happen And ironically 00 is when MS took the NT GK spot.
He contributed no doubt they were the GUN EPL side that period BUT near on under 2 Club MU seasons does not make him No1 imo.
I like Bozza unlike some but MS's longer Club/NT record just makes total sense.
In saying that, Schwarzer has two medals I think...? Or at least one, I remember him saying Chelsea made sure he got a medal for the season he was there

the Chelsea one was Mourinho stated he would recieve a replica winners medal for his contributions.
Not sure of another winners medal he recieved
Here's a stat that backs his standing being no1 2014 during his tenure.
"His clean sheet against Liverpool was his 150th Premier League clean sheet, a feat only two other goalkeepers have achieved so far, those goalkeepers being Čech and David James."
Fulham POTY 08/09.

From wikipedia,

Schwarzer made no league appearances in the 2015–16 Premier League season, when Leicester became champions, making him ineligible for a winner's medal (minimum five league games required). In spite of this, he still became the first player since Eric Cantona to be in the championship winning squad at different clubs in successive seasons.

I'm sure I had heard Leicester did something similar, but not sure on source.
But had definitely heard that about the Chelsea one. Not an 'official' medal, but hey.

Ron Corry was also a very good keeper - but also coached Bosnich and Kalac at different times. BTW I believe the 3 of Bosnich, Kalac and Schwarzer all played in U13 teams against each other. We certainly don't have a batch that good all around the same age.

Ah yes thanks to wiki robbos.
How lucky he was haha

PJ yer forgot about Ron Corry - now that’s back in the day good GK if I recall right.

Great keeper. My favourite Australian keeper when I was playing as a youngster.

Ron Corry wasn't tall but an excellent shotstopper. He was famed for saving numerous penalties.

I remember a Bozza save in a match against the great Brazil side of the late 90's. The whole Brazil bench/ technical area applauded it don't think I've seen something like that before.

Maty Ryan compilation of saves for the NT:
