Webster's economical action bowling mid to high 120s, means he can bowl all day. And give the three specialist quicks more rest and be able to bowl shorter spells.

Good line and length so far.

What are your thoughts, Richie?

You from Tassie Hounddog.

Only medium pace but accurate so far. Like him to utilize his hi release point by bowling more in the danger zone, 6-8 m.
Pitch further up?

Look at how with that economical action, he can bowl sustained spells. We haven't had an all rounder since Andrew Symonds or Andrew McDonald, able to do that.

ATM with rain looking likely to wash play out on 5th day on Tuesday, Aus looking good to win Border/ Gavaskar Trophy. Hopefully, make the Test final at Lords too.

I can't work out how Saffers got there? Their batting was poor when last in Aus.

Been watching when he does pitch it up they are easily onto the front foot in defense given his meager pace. There is movement in that danger zone moreso than full pitchers.
Interesting observation, Baggers.

Above my level of cricket knowledge! So you would suggest back of a length instead?

He does bowl the odd bouncer, from his massive height.

It was. That was two years ago? Noticed they are using some new personnel these days and are now playing better cricket.

India a piddling 107 at tea. Fair to say ball dominating bat big time.

A few of us in Tas reckon Webster would have taken both catches that Lyon and Labu dropped off his own bowling, if he could have fielded them too!
