Summer of Cricket thread

Kamindu Mendis, currently batting, has made best in world eleven, batting at 6.

He has scored 5 tons in his last 10 Tests. Looks good!

Aus haven’t beaten SL in SL, since 2011.

Lost in 2016 0-3, and drew 1-1 in 2022.

Very tall. Much higher trajectory than Head - and has bowled more.

Or medium pace after all he was picked as an all rounder. And if he was to jag the winning wicket be a big lift in spirits as Snug his home town was burning a week or so back.

None of the TCA boys? I back the concept but will CA, given the extra cost. Only downside for mine is either team finding the personnel to be competitive.
I'd also like to see a female red ball domestic comp or combined with the current white ball one.
