What football podcasts/shows do you usually watch?

Watch them all the time. Beats the modern stuff..

Serie A in the 90s with Palumbo and Orsati ... what a time to be a football fan eh?

Its a long shot, but if you can figure a way to post some of the TWG footage from then on hear you'd make this little old man very happy. Remember the 3 minute feature player "montage" at the end of every TWG show....

I can't watch or listen to anything with Simon Hill in it. His voice really does sound funny, not his accent but his voice. It's like he's got something stuck up his nose all the time and it's restricting his ability to speak properly.

Really rate him. I kind of like pairing him with some wild cards like fozz, harper, slater or bosnich, the sensible richie benaud like statesman to bring things back to earth

Simon Hill sounds cooked to me. Has no enthusiasm left in his calls and sometimes in the a-league you need it.

Not frigging Harper - he bores me more than Hill ever would and makes me cringe.
Fozz, woke, political correctness etc just isn't suitable for football outlook.
Many of you new dawns didn't like Bozza/Slater, well there the types that bring some spice to the party.

Hill definitely needs a bit of a loose unit next to him. Hill fills the role of the professional announcer. Knows all of the players names, knows plenty of stats, accurately describes what is happening at any given moment, etc. Nothing wrong with any of that, he's great at it. However, when you add someone that has a bit of a sense of humour and some great little stories and anecdotes to pepper in during the slower parts of a game it makes a big difference. I always kinda liked Ned Zelic for that. He always had good stories like playing in the EPL and making zero money coz he spent all of it, but he'd also offer a bit of off-the-cuff play analysis here and there. Paramount have definitely steered away from those sorts of characters.

yep correct, the ying yang.
Thats it Ned, imo he's the joker as is Bozza but they also make some good points - some not haha but you can live with that.
Every lead comm needs the side kick, Hill is the serious one with all the right intel, you need this as you quoted but man when Harper is with him I could chew my elbow off at times.
Archie is meh, Brosquey - he just seems uncomfortable tries hard but not convincing, poor Luke W just isn't good in front of the camera full stop.
McBreen, well he's ok but I wouldn't miss him.
Kudos to Tara, she holds them together.

I'll have to look into which of the new age podcasters are worth giving a go but won't be Rugari's thats for sure.

LFC, I think many don't like Bozza/Slater is because their analysis is stuck in the 1990s & early 2000s, we have moved on from kick & run football. They are dreadful.
I went to Auckland for a little holiday last weekend & was very impressed with the setup at Auckland FC.
Your Liverpool side looked good against Arsenal.

I can't agree mate - they also know times have changed.
Nah they are funny guys and like I said - they have good and bad points.
Maybe its the boomer background they came from youth don't like em lol....

TBH away against a strong contender is always a massive challenge as we know and yep we took all they gave us but I wasn't that impressed by our overall play.
Awesum 2 come from behind goals thats for sure.
