What football podcasts/shows do you usually watch?

we're even further behind Japan skill wise in 2024 than we were in 2012 or 2007

I quoted us similar vintage and don't see it like the ol days game and really, Slater doesn't as well he's not that friggin ignorant or is he haha...
He sure is no stratergist and anywhere compared to Ange, he plain and simple no more no less just a side kick/personality.
and I've always thought we are behind Japan on the pitch incl the GG days barring that magic '06 3-1 win, most other games we have struggled and worse modern days.
Off topic back to podcasts blah blah.

Maybe they're just further advanced.

I mean just look at their ranking compared to the past

Yeah enjoyed Daily Football Show, was probably the first podcast I listened to. Was a good panel, including Van Aken's rants and they always had good guests on. Shame it finished up, which I recall was around the time of the governance war which pretty much consumed the domestic game and would've become a bit tiring and depressing to talk about constantly.

Nope, they're tracking about the same. We've gone backwards however.
I was watching some SPL over the weekend and noticed the Edinburgh derby had a number of Socceroos playing. They were the worst players on the park in a clash between the bottom two teams. This is the SPL mind you, not a great league. Their first touches were atrocious, they were misplacing passes, just the basics you would expect from professional footballers and yet these are national team players.
 
I listened to AL Off Air for the first time and i didn't mind it. Robbie Thompson has always came across to me as a plain/vanilla-type of character, but this Pod has made me look at him in a different way.

I’ve been watching suited and booted tv on YouTube and I’ve been impressed.
It’s very good with some good guests as well.
