Like up in. Wow and geez

Ryan
Miller Matthews Souttar Burgess Behich
Irvine Caceres
McGree Goodwin
Yengi

But.... The best fighting performance WC aside was when we rotated like hell against Chile in Russia and really gave them a kicking in tackles and controlled the game.

I'm still shocked Matthews is in. Ryan feels dodgy mentally but he's known for his professionalism. Miller and Behich starting is annoying.

Rowles, Yazbek omitted. We've named 23. I must be blind. Who else?

Velupillay out injured of course! Really curious about this 11 and what's been trained. This isn't the time for experiments.

Didn't Rhys Williams get a red on debut Oman away?

Probably just those two since vellupilay is out

How much is rotation and how much is setting standards in training by whoever trains hardest gets a starting spot?

Palestine remain undefeated against South Korea as it ends 1:1. Iran gave up a 2:0 lead but beat Kyrgyzstan 3:2.

This draw actually a bit annoying for South Korea as Iraq lead Oman late and Jordan should beat Kuwait leaving the latter 2 only 3 points behind.

I thought Caseres was good when he came on as a sub in Melbourne but it is a big call to start him. It is also a big call to start Matthews and bench the in-form Gauci. But bring back in Ryan is not super unsurprising I suppose. I do like the change up front with Yengi starting ahead of Duke. But my pref would be 2 up front. I am surprised Balard is not in the starting team given all the changes.

Honestly though, does Popovic have a festish of calling up our better players and not playing them? Balard, Irankunda minimal time, Arzani.

McGree, Burgess, Souttar on yellow alert. Probably best to try and avoid as long as possible.
