Sign Up Now!Nick MrdjaI remember that game - Anton Milicic got the winner, I think.
The trouble is of course, there's a lot of these new dawners around that take even the slightest criticism of the A League franchise competition.and the way it's run as some sort of pronounced assault on the game....Now now Bat, lets not go against the mainstream masses that saved our game, for we may just find ousrselves excluded yet again just like the NSL..... you know "for the good of the game and progressiveness"... There's a Lowy or a Hill in all of them after all, and they cant hide it even when they try to veil it in comments of support!
Keep chipping away at their bubble mate! Well be here at their end with the pop corn!
Just about every A-League fan has criticised the way it's run. The game has barely ever been run well here. The trouble is of course, there's a lot of these new dawners around that take even the slightest criticism of the A League franchise competition.and the way it's run as some sort of pronounced assault on the game....
It's not that at all. You're not going to fix the myriad of problems created by the FFA and A League franchise competition management over the years if you can't talk about them in a civilised manner. I sometimes think when these new dawners are throwing their toys out of the pram because someone has pointed out a lower than normal crowd figure ir two that they're a bit crackbrained...
Especially when said criticism comes from fans of the game pre 2005 who maybe didn't have their footballing culture installed on their cultural mindset from a console game....
Or maybe after all these years they're still suffering from NSL derangement syndrome.....![]()
But I think the point with you is all we hear is criticism......
Quality patter.Yep......It's called A League franchise competition derangement syndrome........![]()
Here we finally agree... your dellusion (borderline denial) run veeeeery deep!, delusion runs deep.
what we need is a new new dawn to crap on both of usJust about every A-League fan has criticised the way it's run. The game has barely ever been run well here.
But I think the point with you is all we hear is criticism. It's like if you won't bother with the good, don't bother us with the bad kinda thing. It's the same with most things in life, if one can't be balanced and objective but only flogs their own agenda then they come across as, well, a flog.
You absolutely have made some excellent points throughout. Just saying they probably get lost in the sheer amount of vinegar instead of honeyas my nan used to say.
Some A-League fans have absolutely no idea, too. Crapping on "old soccer" but they wouldn't have a clue. There are all sorts on either side of the fence. Would be great if we were all working towards the same thing. What's best for the game? Yeah, plenty of opinions there haha. But constructively, not just shitting on things forever. That goes for everyone.
Another troll. Are you all friends of Kim Jong Pasquali ?Here we finally agree... your dellusion (borderline denial) run veeeeery deep!
I don't think they're Pasquali's friends-far from it.Anyway all forums have resident trolls so don't worry about it.The trick is not to feed them too much and argue with them. They are kind of funny and also sad.Another troll. Are you all friends of Kim Jong Pasquali ?
Ahh convenient gaslighting, as always.... slander away, like most new dawners!I don't think they're Pasquali's friends-far from it.Anyway all forums have resident trolls so don't worry about it.The trick is not to feed them too much and argue with them. They are kind of funny and also sad.
Do you understand that history is made everyday all around the world. Today's action is tomorrow's history. History is not only what happened 60 years ago.I thought Hellenic man made some very valid points. Hellenic man has his own particular view, his own particular way of expressing that view and he should be applauded for his love of Australia's footballing history and culture.....
I love this place![]()
Except not all histories carry the same validity or weight, now do they?Do you understand that history is made everyday all around the world. Today's action is tomorrow's history. History is not only what happened 60 years ago.
You do understand that history is all about perception, you can't change history, but you can change your perception & opinion of history.Except not all histories carry the same validity or weight, now do they?
Pretty decent turn out.Mariners vs Melb City 11,542
About 2000 people more than the last NSL grand final in 2004.
