No matter how the spursy win goes luv seeing United lose lose lose feck em.
Well done win is a win.
Yes Pascuali we will throw in more bench and kids to play spurs though they will contest and won’t be surprised we take the spurs in the end.

Loved Endo, Tsimi, and Chiesa finally getting a run ... just reminds me how much incredible depth Liverpool has this year.

A tale of flaky goalkeepers and a lot of ticker. It's a big result given the wolves were baying.

yep, thats the wave Spurs will need to deal with over 2 legs.
They no doubt will play a huge game against us 1st @ their home - Slot will play many as you've mentioned, the depth is all there on top of the many top flighters who were/are rested for the Saints game.
We get a draw 1st leg it will be finished off at Anfield the way I see it if we stick to form.

You still get Agent Forster for the Carabao as well, given Vicario won't be back until March.

I think a keeper on loan is non-negotiable in January, but who though?

Forster's stuff ups are reminiscent of some early Ange era Roar with Franjic, Theo, and Steff passing back and forth across the goal face. They came good.

Funny old game, Spurs supporters are back to AngeOut again :)

Not sure what he can do with 3 games in a week and an inability to rest/rotate players.

Liverpool made 7 changes mid-week for their Carabao Cup game.

The 2 squads are night/day.

Surely the clock is ticking louder than ever after today.

Tottenham fans are delusional. I've given up on trying to get them to understand the process of building a team. The quality of their squad has been dropping for years since Pochettino left, similar to how United declined after Ferguson, yet the fans think he should be challenging for the league after signing a lot of young prospects over the summer.

yer pretty much tFl.
Some fans just are delusional or in denial.
United fans the worst considering having been winners way way back and still can't accpet it whereas Spurs ?
Well they have a project for how long ? its also not the good coachs ala Poch/Conti and now Ange, it still goes back to Levy !
He's keeps the board happy and their pockets but ffs buy some friggin players for it ain't gonna happen the same the last 20yrs.
Ange has 2 CB's out, the GK, a LB or RB all good start up players and the bench just isn't good enough to compete at these leve3ls making top 4 let alone 6.
Bergvall great prospect but at 18yrs thrown in against our line up and subs and hold stations come on but good on him he puts in very well.
Ange only did 3 subs to our 4, thought this shows he knows what his bench is capable of, not much.
I feel for him - it could have been worse for we should have put away a few more.

well thats been a calling for ages - every loss its the same from pundits and the press.
Mind you this is typical UK press/media forever and the day.
Spurs are 2 wins off the top 6 and a long way to go yet, he needs support for the Jan window.

TBH the shots should be more so fired towards United/new messiah Amorim now, 3nil thrashing at OT ! now 13th.
More shots/more corners/more possession and you lose like that with all the $$$'s this is more the question than @ Spurs/Ange.

It was Liverpool. Everyone is getting destroyed by Liverpool. Spurs fans and the pundits have absolutely no ability to contextualise things properly.

Ange should move on. He'll be a success elsewhere. Yes, his brand of football means that there are chances they get opened up, but that's not something that simply gets fixed overnight. It takes time and having the right players.

If Ange’s desire is to win a European Cup or a more prestigious trophy than the SPL, visions need to be aligned.

Spurs have the $$$ to assemble one of the best squads in Europe, which is what Ange will need to be successful with his brand of football.

Yet, the chairman is a penny pincher who bought 1 proven player over the summer.

So can’t see him being a success elsewhere unless he’s at a club that has the capacity to outspend.

I think it really depends.

The thing with Spurs is they DO have the revenue to demand a far better squad than they have.

Yes the net spend is up there but the wages aren’t.

That's it - Ange can play a great style of football, which he proved at the World cup. Still got him 0 points against teams that played a great style with better players. If Spurs want to win with style Ange is only half the answer - he needs a better and deeper squad.

It happened against Chelsea too
