The Ange at Tottenham Thread

That was a messy dis jointed game for us/LFC - first of the season we looked all over the shop and lacked any finish finesse.
Good on spurs Ange they put it on us no doubt and just reward.
 
I hate Leeds but that Archie Gray Spurs got from them is a wonderful young footballer.

£25m was a steal. Was he a Postecoglou pick?

Great response to journalist about the players handling the Tamworth facilities. Just said his team are human beings and good people. Some may have come from very humble beginnings themselves.

Non-league Tamworth deserve all the credit in the world for their excellent showing against Premier League opposition, but from a Spurs perspective...woof

That was a Postecoglou team performance many of us Australians would have flashbacks of against minnows.

End of the day they got the job done but bloody hell they made hard work of it. A bunch of construction workers took Tottenham to extra time, what a laugh.

Spurs have a lot of bang average footballers in their squad. The technical ability of some are just terrible (Dragusin, Johnson, Werner etc.)
 
The issue I'd have with Ange's recruitment at this level is he's spent most of his career working with mediocre footballers, so wouldn't recognise talent if he saw it.

Werner was definitely an Ange pick because he scored against Celtic in 2022.
