The Ange at Tottenham Thread

Ange has ruled out getting a loan goalie in. Foster is getting backed. That could be costly.

Game just shows that Tottenham need to continue to strengthen the squad. Depth isn't there to challenge on multiple fronts.
TBH you got to wonder after all these years their Youth haven't come through much ???? that I can tell.
Look at LFC - some prime up and comers last numbers of years.
Last season our youth palyed majority of Cup games till in semis on.
United have always had some local youth another, not that they are helping much nowadays.

Except for Harry Kane they haven't created much in recent memory. Hopefully Moore and Lankshear changes things. They are buying young players with potential such as Bergvall, Gray and Vuskovic.

That is true. I wonder what has been happening at the club.

It’s an interesting discussion one that I know Grazor and I have discussed re Brazil dropping oof the planet NT wise for some 15yrs.
Whereas EPL the clubs get a lot of revenue from streaming rights x % and even championship clubs.
You’d think with a lot of resource we’d be seeing a lot more local developed youth.
They have improved when you see their NT ala Bellingham Palmers TAA and some but clubs not enough.

Another loss this morning.

Spurs were always an injury crisis away from becoming completely toothless. They're now a team that brings a spoon to a knife fight.

Not sure how Ange turns this around without getting players back early and a couple of key loans/buys in January.

tick tock. Time is almost up.

fighting with the fans after the game is never a good sign.

Who knows what's going on behind the scenes, as Levy is a notorious tight arse - but the signings haven't been great and injuries have made it worse

I'd say he's probably done ok enough to get a half-decent job again, but the fact of the matter is he needs elite players to play his system. If he goes to a low-table club in a strong league he's probably going to struggle
