Wyndham City Stadium Thread

Australia’s first sports, health and wellness driven city

Australia’s first sports, health and wellness driven city.

Coming soon to Tarneit, this $1B mixed-use precinct will feature over 950 residences including spacious lots, townhouses and apartments (STCA), nestled among parks, wetlands and open green spaces. The precinct will also feature substantial commercial and retail offerings including potential allied health, education, wellness hubs, dining and entertainment precincts, public plazas and more. At its heart will be a 15,000-capacity stadium, home to the A-League Western United Football Club and a 5,000-capacity regional sporting facility. This vibrant community is set to become a great source of Western pride.

Doesn't that refer to the housing though and the entire precinct?
According to links this phantom stadium should already be there or at least half finished, have you been there & checked lately.

Because of your post, I went out to sus. The entire precinct is fenced off which is a lot of fencing. My mate used to own a farm out in the area and unfortunately, it's all single detached ghetto at this point. The Stadium area and what I imagine will become high and mid-rise development surrounding the stadium, seem to have the soil turned in part, but that's it.

Really sad how slow this is all taking but I imagine, with most things, it will be very quick to take shape once the foundation works start.

Thank you so much for sacrificing your own personal time to provide an update, It is appreciated. Looks like things could be moving along soon out there..sad-walk-of-shame.gif

If it's the one I think you're talking about, that's a real stadium in San Jose.
