A-league attendances 24/25

I think you took it personally. Just an observation my guy. Simple solution, show up.
No - I didn't take it personally and have been a member and showing up since 2004 (first match a 6-0 trial against Blacktown City). I'm more of the opinion that the crowds are on an upswing (CCM in spite of losing a team that would probably beat Poppa's Socceroos). Macarthur with their current position are also likely to increase their attendances.

Boutique is anything that's size appropriate. In my eyes anyway. Doesn't mean boutique beers hahaha.
The only time i have heard " boutique " stadium mentioned in Australia, has been when describing, Gold coast and Melbourne rectangular stadiums.

The BBL was on......

the AU v WSW game at hindmarsh last friday had 13227, whilst the big bash was on at adelaide oval

the friday prior to that, AU v SFC also clashed with the big bash in adelaide… but still got 11907

we quite often clash with the nbl too… but still get decent crowds

i don’t buy that as an excuse… much bigger population, beautiful stadium, team doing well

🤷‍♀️

Only in the A-League will people look at the biggest crowd of the round and find negatives.

not being negative and not having a dig… i’ve just never understood why SFC, WSW and MV don’t have better crowds, especially in the instances where the teams are doing well

Maybe Melbourne and Sydney are sick of getting the prime spot. Maybe it should be shared around a bit more.

The champions of the last two years get one 7:30 Sat game. Conversely CCM (based in a commuter region) gets 4 Friday night 7:30 games.

i think, where possible all teams should have their fixtures planned around, the days and times, which historically draw the biggest crowds

especially now that we’re free of fox’s control

or is that too obvious?
