Yeah but we don't give those people airtime. While it was great to hear him talk the talk on the pod, he fails to walk the walk online.Guus, many of us wish death to the Aleagues.... (not the clubs themselves but the standalone league structure and the franchise agreement system) how is that losing credibility to state what your beliefs are? Do people on here that repeat ad nauseam that the NSL had to die because the effnik riots on the fields are so much more unpalatable than manistream riots off them lose all credibility?
Why not just wish for pro/rel instead of death to the league? The franchises are there until 2034 unless, with any luck, the NST clubs push high and quash any excuses against pro/rel. Even with pro/rel, those APL clubs would probably still be franchises, and it will still be called A-League.
APL clubs can be franchises and member fed club won't, we can have the best of both worlds, whatever works. "Death to A-Leagues" when you're probably going to be part of within a decade is cutting off one's nose to spite one's face.
